Coastal Adirondack is an online retailer of fine handcrafted adirondack furniture with a coastal flare. Our wide selection of products will feel at home in virtually any outdoor setting.
We are proud to offer the products of Matthews Chair Company, a growing of manufacturer of adirondack furniture relocated in Texas. Matthews builds all their products right here in the U.S. using a combination of technology and old world handcraftsmenship.
We set out to build our site with a couple of things in mind.
First, we have seen many sites out there that offer adirondack furniture in addition to a myriad of other products. We at Coastal Adirondack are completely dedicated to Adirondack. We are passionate about this furniture. After all, the reason you are on this site right now is because you have some sort of interest in adirondack furniture. So we made the decision to sell just Adirondack furniture and do the best job we can. We know what works and what doesn't work in building a chair that will sit outside for years. We understand that online shoppers do not have the ability to touch and feel the items they buy. Because of this, we have gone to extensive effort to display our products clearly, in different settings, and at different angles; so our shoppers can get a full perspective of the items on this site. We have included detailed product specifications and large color swatches as well. We want to give you everything necessary to make an informed decision as to whether or not to purchase our products. We ultimately feel it is more efficient for a shopper to be completely informed and not buy one of our products rather than buy the product based on insufficent data, only to return it when they realize it is not what they thought it was.
Finally, we built our site based on a dedication to quality. Our furniture features routed edges, dacrotized and stainless steel fasteners, and each piece goes through a three-step sanding process to provide a soft feel and reduced splinters.
